Limpopo, South Africa – A chilling video believed to be linked to a murder-su!c!de incident in Limpopo has resurfaced months after the tragic event.
The incident occurred in Ga-Mashamothane village, Tubatse, in April. Limpopo police confirmed that a man f@tally stabbed his girlfriend before hanging himself in nearby bushes.
Police spokesperson Col Malesela Ledwaba stated that police were called to the scene, where they found the body of a woman in her late 20s with multiple stab wounds outside a rented room. Shortly after, the boyfriend, 36, was found hanging from a tree in nearby bushes. His vehicle was parked on the roadside.
The disturbing video, captured from a Facebook Live the man made before his death, reveals him confessing to the murder. He claimed to have k*lled his girlfriend after discovering she was allegedly cheating on him with her former schoolteacher. Despite acknowledging they had been drinking, he denied that alcohol influenced his actions, attributing his actions to anger.
“I didn’t k*ll her because I was drunk. I was angry. I’ve been hearing about what she’s been doing for a long time but she was afraid to confess it to me,” he said in the video.
When questioned about his intentions after the murder, he responded, “I’m going to kill myself, the same way I k*lled her. She didn’t deserve it [so] I’m going to k*ll myself the same way.”

Despite pleas from someone off-camera to reconsider, the man insisted on his plan, saying he wanted people to understand his reasons and intended to leave the video on his page as a “warning” to others.
