Sello Machitje, a deputy director at the Department of Water and Sanitation, has been found dead under tragic circumstances.

Reported missing last Monday, Machitje is believed to have been hijacked while traveling between Gauteng and the Eastern Cape.

However, Gauteng police spokesperson Noxolo Kweza stated that the suspect has not yet been linked to Machitje’s murder, and investigations are ongoing.

Ongoing Investigation

The police are continuing their efforts to uncover the details surrounding Machitje’s disappearance and death.
