Popular South African reality TV star Eulenda “Yolanda” Monyai was showered with gifts from her fans for her birthday celebration on Saturday, 3 August.
The gifts included R200,000, home appliances, a bedroom suite, a couch, a four-door fridge, and a dishwasher.
Yolanda plans to use the R200,000 to complete her house in Limpopo. The 33-year-old, originally from Phalaborwa and now based in Joburg, expressed her amazement at her fans’ generosity.
“I never anticipated such overwhelming support,” she said.
Her journey on Big Brother Mzansi was driven by her ambition to win R2 million to build a house for her mother, Sarah.
“This cash has brought me closer to realizing the dream I’ve always had,” Yolanda added.
She was surprised by the extent of the planning her fans had undertaken. “I had no idea they were planning so many things for me.The gifts were a total surprise.”
Among the gifts was a dog named Pablo, fulfilling a long-held desire, showing that her fans truly understand what she cares about.
Yolanda is currently focused on her podcast, Loud Wednesdays with Yolanda, which airs every Wednesday on YouTube at 3 pm.
She discusses various topics, including her life and her aspirations to work with skincare products.
