Chidimma Adetshina, a former Miss South Africa finalist, allegedly made a desperate attempt to end her life due to severe bullying both online and offline.
The bullying stemmed from her participation in the recently concluded Miss South Africa 2024 pageant.
The 23-year-old recently withdrew from the competition, likely due to immense pressure and fear of online backlash.
Home Affairs uncovered prima facie evidence suggesting that the mother of Miss SA contestant Chidimma Adetshina might have committed identity theft.
Investigations revealed that her father is allegedly Nigerian, while her mother is believed to be from Mozambique.
While some people showed sympathy, advising her to take a break and assuring her that this tough phase will pass, others continued their relentless harassment.
