Infamous 19-year-old Luvo Ngqaza was arrested on Thursday after a video of him hitting his grandmother went viral on social media.
The shocking footage prompted widespread outrage, with many demanding his immediate arrest and seeking help for the grandmother.
MDN News confirmed Luvo’s arrest, sharing a photo of him behind bars that quickly spread online.
He is expected to appear before the Blue Downs Magistrates Court on a charge of assault.
