Makhadzi has seen a meteoric rise in her career, becoming one of South Africa’s most booked and busy award-winning singers.

Her journey began at a young age, performing in taxi ranks before achieving fame.

Over the years, she has amassed a fortune and generously spent millions on her immediate family.

Makhadzi’s Tax Troubles with SARS

Makhadzi has built homes for her mother, grandmother, and father, and recently bought a lavish mansion for herself.

However, she has recently made headlines due to her tax issues with the South African Revenue Service (SARS).

In 2023, reports surfaced that Makhadzi owed SARS a staggering R6 million in unpaid taxes. The tax authority was reportedly targeting her property portfolio.

Fortunately, Makhadzi reached an agreement with SARS to pay the debt in monthly installments, reducing the amount to R2.7 million.

A Look at Makhadzi’s Properties Across South Africa

Despite her tax woes, Makhadzi’s success is evident in her impressive property portfolio. At 28, she owns multiple luxurious houses across the country.

In 2021, she fulfilled a childhood dream by purchasing her dream mansion for R4 million.

Celebrating her achievement on social media, she shared, “The first time I entered my house, I took this picture. My dream came true, and I am proud of myself. I built my grandmother a house just because my mom and father separated. I decided not to choose but to build them two different houses. Now I bought MY OWN HOUSE!”

However, two years later, at 27, she added a new house to her property portfolio. Makhadzi confirmed her second purchase in an Instagram post. She posted, “Came to clean my new bae 🏡. #girlswithproperties.” No doubt, her cryptic caption left many convinced that she had bought another house.
