Beloved rapper and songwriter Malome Vector was tragically killed in a car accident on the N8 in Bloemfontein, Free State, on Wednesday, 24 July.
The 32-year-old musician, born Bokang Moleli, was traveling with two crew members, Lizwi Wokuqala and Musa Lecton Nkondo, when the accident occurred.
Mondli Mvambi, a spokesman for the Free State health department, confirmed that the crash claimed three lives and left two others injured.
Malome Vector’s body was returned to his hometown of Maseru, Lesotho, on Friday, 26 July, where fans and supporters gathered at the Maseru Border Gate to pay their respects.

The rapper leaves behind his wife, daughter, parents, and four siblings.
Malome Vector was a trailblazing new-school Sesotho rap artist from Roma, Lesotho. Influenced by traditional Sesotho music and Motswako rap, he began his music career in the early 2010s and signed with Ambitiouz Records in 2020.
He was best known for his hit song “Dumelang” featuring Blaq Diamond and collaborations with DJ Miss Pru and Blaq Diamond on “Price to Pay.”
At the time of his death, he was working on a new project. His loss is deeply felt by fans and the music community.
