A South African woman is pleading for help to escape her abusive Nigerian husband.
In a viral video on social media, the unnamed woman tearfully describes how her husband of 15 years has been beating her. They share four children together. Despite seeking help from the police and legal system, she says they have failed her.
“My Nigerian husband beats me up. I’ve reported him to the SAPS, but they’re not helpful. We’ve been married for 15 years and have 4 kids. He is good at making me feel like I’m losing my mind. Please help me,” she said in the video.
The video has sparked significant attention and outrage on social media. Many comments focus on the man’s nationality and speculate that it may be linked to his abusive behavior.
One user commented, “This kind of acting is required at Mzansi Magic. You said four children. Uthini yena Manimkhuza.”
Another wrote, “I’m a woman but I will never marry a foreigner. When things were nice, you didn’t come here. Lena la lapisa straight.”
The woman’s plea highlights the urgent need for effective support and intervention for victims of domestic abuse.
Any South African that dates a Nigerian irregadless of the gender is will absolutely not be recognized in rainy days.

Yes, makes my heart so sad. Unfortunately the SA ladies are impressed by materialistic things, lifestyle etc. I’m hoping that this post is a clear warning to SA ladies. Love is NOT about someone paying for you. 🥲🥲
