JOHANNESBURG – President Cyril Ramaphosa has emphasized that prior work experience should no longer hinder young people from entering the job market.
Speaking at the ANC’s National Executive Committee (NEC) lekgotla in Boksburg, Ramaphosa advocated for the professionalization of public service and prioritizing qualified youth.
He also urged the NEC to focus on the basic income grant for unemployed youth.
Ramaphosa stressed the need to create more job opportunities and boost economic participation.
“We cannot continue to have so many South Africans unemployed,” he stated.
