EFF leader Julius Malema has called on young Zimbabweans to take charge of their own liberation, emphasizing the need for local action to address the nation’s challenges.
Malema urged Zimbabweans to organize and mobilize for change from within, highlighting the importance of relying on themselves rather than outside help.
Former CCC president Adv. Nelson Chamisa echoed Malema’s sentiments, agreeing that Zimbabweans must take responsibility for their future.
However, Chamisa also expressed concern over encouraging people to return to a struggling nation without substantial support. He described this approach as “disingenuous,” warning that it could worsen the situation for many.
Chamisa advocated for a balanced strategy, one that combines international solidarity and practical assistance with local efforts.
He emphasized the need for a comprehensive approach that considers the complexity of Zimbabwe’s challenges while seeking long-term solutions.
I used to not understand why our neighbours can’t go home and fix things however I have realised that their government is heartless. Lots of blood will be shed and it’s understandable why people wouldn’t want to lose their lives. They will need help from other countries
