A well-known South African singer has voiced her disappointment over the bullying that pushed Chidimma Adetshina to withdraw from the Miss SA competition.
The model chose to step back from the pageant after many South Africans expressed displeasure with her Nigerian heritage.
After her withdrawal, Miss Universe Nigeria organizers extended an invitation for the 23-year-old to join their competition.

Taking to Twitter, Grammy-winning star Tyla expressed her unhappiness with the situation and wished Chidimma success. “Disappointed that this happened to her, but wish you all the best girl. Kill it!!!” wrote the Water hitmaker.
Tyla made it clear that while she supports South Africa, she does not condone bullying. “I will always stand with South Africa, but regardless of opinions, she was bullied, and that’s what I don’t stand for,” she tweeted.
Meanwhile, on Saturday night, Mia La Roux was crowned Miss SA 2024 in Pretoria.
